To start this design i began creating a water colour brush. To do this i opened up a watercolour image that i liked in Adobe Photoshop.

Here i adjusted the levels so that the right slider is moved the left and the left slider is moved to the right. This is to ensure that the watercolour is kept darker and the background is whiter.

Whilst keeping the watercolour selected under the edit tab i clicked define brush preset option and gave my new brush a name.
On a new document i changed the colour of my watercolour brush and in no particular order i began to create a cloud of colour.

Here i transferred the succulent i drew in illustrator into a photoshop document and placed it over the top of the watercolour brush.
I then positioned the succulent at the top of the document smaller and made the paint layer bigger to create a cloud effect. I used the same font as my other designs to create continuity and set the colour to a dark green.

In Adobe Illustrator i used the pen tool to sketch the outline of a Hawthoria Succulent in a pot. For the more finer details in the leaves i used a pen tool but change the variable width profile to width profile 1. This made the ends of each line pointed.
Here i adjusted the fill and stroke colours to appropriate shades.

I then went back in and added extra lines and details to the pot using the variable width profile and changed the stroke to variable width 5 with made one end pointed and the other curved.

Here i recoloured the green leaves to a more dark and earthy shade. Lastly i added text in the font called Noteworthy and arranged the text and plant positioning.

In Adobe Illustrator i began using the pen tool to re create an image of a cluster of plants. i used the ren tool to create solid vectors in order to be able to use the colour fill to fill each shape.
I used an image of a garden for reference and went in with the colour picker tool to find the colours that worked well together.

Lastly, i added the name of the succulent in the font TallPretty that i downloaded from the font website www.DaFont.com

Once again i went in with the Pen tool in Illustrator and created close shapes that were not touching each other for the main part of the flower. For the longer images i drew them all touching just to give two different effects.

Using a pastel green, blue and pink colour palate i went in and filled all the shapes. I then added a pastel blue background.

After finishing the main parts i went back in and set my stroke to 0.5pt and added some extra details such as the curves and spirals.

I finished off this design with text informing of what the succulent is called so customers know what they are buying.
